A first time multi-modality “Public Transport Treasurer Hunt”.
50 Teams from IPTA/IPTS will start this one day event, the top 24 teams will move into round 2, and the 12 top teams would move and compete for the finals. All rounds would be a 1 day event.
Each team will have a 12 man team broken into 3 sub teams of 4 members each.
Each sub team team, will use a different modality (RAIL, BUS, and TAXI) and find clues along the way and towards the end meet at a specific point to combine clues that will lead to a winning answer.
OBJECTIVE:
As they travel the sub team will
Calculate time, distance and cost and do simple cost analysis against using private transport.
Upload Social Media of the team, this is where the virality of the social media will take place. Each team will have its own page.
PRIZE MONEY
The winners will receive an award, trophy and cash prize of
RM 10,000 (1st place)
RM 7,000 (2nd place)
RM 5,000 (3rd place)
In addition there will be various prizes for sub competition within the events. Prizes, for most innovative use of Public Transport, most viralled Tweet/FB Posting or Instagram for individuals and well as teams
Plus each student will receive an exciting goodie bag and an exclusive T-Shirt.
