Introduction

4PAM is an independent, not-for-profit organisation approved by Registrar Of Societies on the 9th  of July 2012 registration number (ROS NO: PPM-021-10-09072012). It is also an affiliate of the Federation of Malaysian Consumer Association (FOMCA)

4PAM Objectives: –

  • Assist, support and organise economic, social and welfare initiatives or activities that promote the use of public transport and directly contribute to building a comprehensive and progressive public transportation system in Malaysia.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on legislations/guidelines or statistics that may impact the Users of Public Transportation systems in Malaysia.

  • Collate, update, provide feedback on statistics and other relevant information on Public Transportation in Malaysia.

  • Work with the Malaysian Government, State Government, Government Agencies, Statutory Bodies, Organisations, Institutions of Higher Learning  in promoting the usage of Public Transportation  to their members and Malaysians in general.

  • Cooperate with any registered association, company, state or national government agency, that is willing to support the objectives and aspirations of 4PAM.

  • To engage Public Transport operators, Government agencies and ministries to help improve public transport services. 4PAM is focused on ensuring the SAFETY, PROTECTION, AWARENESS & RIGHTS (SPAR) of the Public Transport User is always protected and Operators fulfill the Client Charter obligations.

  • To raise, receive, collect donations or funds to further the objectives of 4PAM.

  • To apply for, acquire, lease, purchase, possess, manage, or develop land and/or any other property to fulfil the objectives of 4PAM.

Our plan: –

  • 4PAM will on a regular basis have meetings, engagements, discussions and consultations with the relevant bodies.

  • 4PAM aspires to play a role in the government efforts to increase User confidence in all the public transport sectors, land, sea and air.

  • 4PAM will act with corporations, government agencies and NGO’s to promote public transport, to ensure that User issues like safety,protection, awareness and right of the User, is never compromised and the cost against quality of service

2021 ~ 2025: The Road Ahead

  • Currently 4PAM is being managed by volunteers and we seek to have a permanent home and full time employees by 2025.

  • We are seeking volunteers from all parts of the country. We encourage fresh graduates, who would like to get to get to know more about the Public Transport industry are encouraged to volunteer.

  • We welcome all volunteers who are keen to know more about Public Transport.

  • Just a quick reminder, we are apolitical and do not support any political organisation. We are purely an NGO that advocates for better services for the Public Transport User.
